Friends Map for Facebook, a free iPhone app takes a cool approach to maps, by letting you see your Facebook friends directly on a map, share your location, search for places around you, check-in to them as well as share a status update on your Facebook wall with a link to your location on a map.
Developers should also take note, AtlasCT, the developers of Friends Map for Facebook have said that they will be opening the API that will allow any developer to embed friends map and allow location sharing in their mobile or web app.
